• TVI calculation inputs and outputs
• Download history (PDF reports)

• IP address (for rate limiting)

• Pages visited and time spent

How We Use Your Information

• Provide the Service: Process calculations, generate reports, manage your account
• Rate Limiting: Enforce fair usage policies
• Billing: Process payments via Stripe (we don't store credit card data)
• Communications: Send account updates, research announcements (if subscribed)
• Improvements: Analyze usage patterns to improve the platform

Database: Supabase (PostgreSQL, encrypted at rest)

Authentication: Supabase Auth (industry-standard security)

Payments: Stripe (PCI DSS Level 1 compliant - we never see your card details)

Encryption: All data transmitted over HTTPS

Data Retention

• Free accounts: Calculations retained for 3 months
• Pro accounts: Unlimited retention
• Deleted accounts: Data removed within 30 days
• Newsletter: Retained until unsubscribe

Third-Party Services

We use the following services that may collect data:

• Supabase: Database and authentication
• Stripe: Payment processing
• Vercel: Hosting and serverless functions
• Google Fonts: Typography (no tracking)
• Netlify Forms: Form submissions

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access: Request a copy of your data
• Correction: Update inaccurate information
• Deletion: Request account and data deletion
• Export: Download your calculations as JSON
• Opt-out: Unsubscribe from emails anytime

Cookies

We use minimal cookies:

No advertising or tracking cookies.

Data Sharing

We do NOT sell your data.

We may share data only:

• With service providers (Supabase, Stripe) to operate the platform
• If required by law (subpoena, court order)
• In aggregated, anonymized form for research

Children's Privacy

The TVI Platform is not intended for users under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

International Users

Data is stored in the United States. By using the service, you consent to data transfer and processing in the US.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. Material changes will be notified via email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
